The dilemna
Imagine this..... It is a rainy night. You are driving your car. As you pass by a bus stand, you find three people waiting there- 1.An old woman who looks as if she is about to die 2.An old friend who once saved your life 3.The perfect partner you have been dreaming about Which of them would you offer a lift knowing that you can have only one passenger in your car? Think before you answer.......................................... This ia moral dilemna once used as a queston for a job interview.
1. You could pick up the old woman and help save her life. 2. You could help your friend who once saved your life and thus repay him back. 3.However, you may never find your perfect mate again if you loose this opportunity.
The boy who got the job out of the 600 candidates had no trouble coming up with the answer......................... He said,"I'll give my car's keys to my friend and ask him to take the old lady to the hospital so that her life is saved and friend is soon able to reach home, too. I would remain behind waiting for the bus with the partner of my dreams. Thus I would fulfill all my motives at one go!" Thus, sometimes we are able to do more in our lives by simply giving up our stubborn thought limitations and by "Thinking Outside The Box!" Whats your opinion? I'd surely love to know!
